Messagecastr ("we," "us," or "our") operates a platform that enables event organizers to send SMS notifications to their vendors and exhibitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information.
Information We Collect
Organizer accounts: When an event organizer creates an account, we collect their name, email address, and authentication credentials.
Vendor/exhibitor contacts: Organizers enter vendor contact information — including name, phone number, and optionally email address — as part of managing their event roster. This information is entered by the organizer and used solely to deliver event notifications.
Message delivery data: We log whether messages were successfully delivered, failed, or skipped, for the purpose of delivery reporting to the organizer.
How We Use Information
Phone numbers collected by organizers are used exclusively to deliver transactional SMS notifications related to the specific event the vendor has been registered for. We do not use phone numbers for marketing purposes and do not sell or share contact information with third parties.
SMS Messaging
Messagecastr sends transactional SMS messages on behalf of event organizers. Messages are sent only to individuals whose contact information has been provided by an organizer in connection with a specific event.
Recipients may opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, recipients may reply HELP or contact us at paprockiw@gmail.com. Message and data rates may apply.
Data Retention
Organizer account data is retained for as long as the account is active. Vendor contact information is retained as long as the organizer maintains it in the system. Delivery logs are retained for 90 days.
Security
We store data using industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
